In 1960, Peak Insurance Agency set out to provide safety, security, and peace of mind to the communities of Winchester, Pittsfield, and Bluffs, Illinois, with a simple concept – affordable insurance coverage. President/Insurance Advisor
Pat is President of Peak Insurance Agency. He is a graduate of Augustana College, Rock Island, IL with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Pat’s father in law Sam Peak, formed the Sam Peak Insurance Agency after he purchased the Frank Redshaw Agency in 1960. Pat and Sam’s daughter Stevie purchased the Sam Peak Insurance Agency in 1996 and created the Peak Insurance Agency. Since then, Pat has grown the agency with several other agency acquisitions, including the Barber Agency of Pittsfield in 2015. The Peak and Barber Insurance Agencies have grown to be premier Insurance agencies in West-Central Illinois. Pat and his family are active members of St. Marks Catholic Church, Winchester Civic Group, Winchester Kiwanis, and Scott County Development Corporation. He and his wife reside in Winchester, Illinois, and they have four children: Colin, Karlee, Kinsey, and Caleb.

Christopher Dorsey,
Insurance/Investment Advisor Representative
Chris has been in the insurance and financial services industry since 2005. He began his career with Slagle Financial LLC after receiving his degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Economics and Business. Chris then left the insurance and financial sector for a short time to gain valuable experience in public accounting. The experience he gained has proven to be beneficial for Chris’ clients in the area of retirement planning. As an integral part of Peak Insurance, Chris is responsible for providing service to new and existing clients in the areas of retirement planning and personal, business, life, health, and crop insurances. Chris offers investment advisory services through Slagle Financial LLC – a registered investment advisor. Chris is married to his high school sweetheart, Nicole, and they have four children: Bronson, Case, Remi, and Audri.

Caleb VanDeVelde, Insurance Advisor
Caleb joined the Agency in May of 2021 after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois College, Jacksonville, IL. Caleb grew up in Winchester and is the youngest Son of Agency owners Pat and Stevie VanDeVelde. He is licensed in Illinois for Property, Casualty, Life and Health. He is an active member of the Pittsfield Rotary Club. His Goal is to continue to grow the agency both in Winchester and Pittsfield.
